Terms of Use

These terms apply to pbca.com, run by the Professional Business Coaches Alliance (“PBCA”). By using the site you agree to them.

Using the site

Anyone can browse the public pages. The member area (the library, events, forms, the directory and billing) is for PBCA members whose membership is current. Keep your sign-in links to yourself. They sign you straight in.

Membership and payment

Membership fees vary and are confirmed to you before you pay. Membership is billed monthly or annually and renews automatically until it is cancelled. To cancel, send a cancellation request from your account or email support@pbca.com. Requests are reviewed within 1 business day, and we may call you before processing it. Once a cancellation is approved, your membership continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Membership fees are not normally refunded. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Events

To cancel a paid event registration, email support@pbca.com. Cancellations and refunds are handled by PBCA staff and decided case by case. If PBCA cancels or reschedules an event, we will contact you about a refund or a transfer.

The member directory and your profile

You are responsible for what you put in your profile. It must be accurate and must be yours to share. We may remove content that is misleading or inappropriate. Don’t use the directory to send other members bulk or unsolicited marketing.

Our content

The text, branding, photos, the CPBC methodology and the PBCA toolkit on this site belong to PBCA or are licensed to us. Members may use library materials in their own coaching practice, including with their clients. Please don’t republish or redistribute member materials outside PBCA. You may link to our public pages and quote short passages with credit.

What you send us

When you send us information (through the contact form, an event registration or a certification application), you confirm it is accurate and yours to share.

Disclaimer

The site is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Coaching materials, courses and tools are educational; they are not legal, financial or tax advice, and we do not promise any particular business result.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, PBCA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, that come from using the site or our materials. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid PBCA in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@pbca.com so we can try to put it right. Any dispute we cannot settle that way will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

We may update these terms. The date below shows when they last changed.
