Who PBCA Membership Is Built For

We have a full range of members, from beginning coaches to some of North America’s most established and highest-earning business coaches and consultants. The best part of the PBCA is that no matter your experience level, you will be supported and welcomed by everyone.

The PBCA is for business coaches only. Every member-coach is a Certified Professional Business Coach (CPBC).

What’s Included in PBCA Membership

PBCA membership includes:

  • Tools — Access to an extensive library of proven tools and knowledge built for business coaches, by business coaches, free for you to download, customize, and private label with your own name and logo.
  • Monthly Peer Groups — Professionally facilitated mastermind sessions where you get the help you need, while also providing your peers any help you can offer.
  • Community Calls — Periodically, member-coaches host teleconferences or webinars to share best practices, programs, tools, or strategies they are using in their own practices.
  • Conferences and Retreats — Our Annual Conference is a 2½-day live conference of workshops, seminars and roundtables. The Master Coach Retreat is for business coaches billing more than $150,000 per year; its content and notes are shared afterward with the entire membership.

Be Independent, Yet Don’t Be Alone

Our member-coaches:

  • value their independence, but they don’t want to be alone.
  • are smart enough to create all of their tools and programs from scratch, but would rather invest their time working with clients than developing all of their own material.
  • have an “abundance” mindset and appreciate that the “whole” of our membership is so much greater than the sum of our individual coaches.

Members are encouraged to collaborate on larger coaching opportunities, in joint-coaching engagements and special project work.

From Certification to Membership

The PBCA pathway is straightforward: complete the 4-day Certified Professional Business Coach (CPBC) program, earn the credential, and become eligible to join as a member-coach. In order to become a PBCA Member, PBCA CPBC Certification is required: it provides the foundation of the PBCA concepts, so that we all speak the same language.

We supply proven methods and tools for veteran coaches, as well as simplifying the path to becoming a coach.

Continuing Development Inside the Alliance

Increase your expertise with additional courses and practical certifications offered by the PBCA:

  • BEE and LEE Certification — Proven evaluation tools for coaching advancement with clients.
  • Master Coach Certification
  • PBCA Business Operating System (BOS) Certification — PBCA’s proprietary Business Operating System, for business coaches, by business coaches.
